250: A Celebration of Public Art in the U.S.

A Nationwide Exhibition for America’s 250th Anniversary

Presented in partnership with CODAworx, our July exhibition, 250: A Celebration of Public Art in the U.S., presents a virtual tour of public art installations in parks, deserts, streets, airports, subway stations, and other locales across the United States. The exhibition features one project from each of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico, honoring our nation’s 250th birthday by showcasing public art that enhances and responds to American cities and landscapes. From murals, archways, and bridges to sculptures, monuments, and multimedia installations, 250 offers an inspiring array of work from coast to coast, emphasizing history, community, and collaboration.
