The artists in Aftereffects use physical, emotional, and psychological challenges as a platform to create arresting multimedia work. Responding to trauma, depression, disorders, disability, and addiction, they transform personal experience and reflections on the world around them into conceptually based paintings, sculptures, works on paper, textiles, and installation.
