Art and the Environment

Working with found objects, recycled materials, and traditional media, the artists in this exhibition address the imprint left by humans on the natural environment. From photographs of icebergs and murals of oil spills, to paintings of wildfires, mixed-media installations, yarn bombing, light interventions, billboards, videos, and performance art, they examine the fraught relationship between a consumer society and a wilderness under siege.
