Scott Power
Scott "Sourdough" Power (he/him/his) is the creator and publisher of NOT REAL ART and the founder and chief content officer of Crewest Studio, an arts media enterprise based in Los Angeles. Scott is a lifelong creative with deep roots in the arts. He hosts the NOT REAL ART podcast under the pseudonym "Sourdough," a moniker he earned while living in the Canadian arctic perfecting his tasty sourdough pancakes. Scott is proud to be a member of The Explorers Club and 2x Ironman finisher, but admits being a dad is way cooler.

Morgan Laurens
Morgan Laurens (she/her/hers) is NOT REAL ART’s editor in chief. Morgan is an arts writer from the Midwest who enjoys saying “excuse me” when no actual pardon is needed. She specializes in grant writing and narrative-based storytelling for mission-driven artists and arts organizations. With a background in printmaking, pop culture, and classic literature, Morgan believes a girl’s best friend is the pile of books on her bedside table.

Joshua Wattles
Joshua Wattles (he/him/his) is the legal advisor for NOT REAL ART and Crewest Studio. Prior to joining us, Joshua served as chief legal advisor at DeviantArt for 15 years and was general counsel at Paramount Studios. Joshua is also an accomplished photographer with a passion for street photography.

Juergen Berkessel
Juergen Berkessel (he/him/his) drives all digital strategy and content marketing for NOT REAL ART. A true polymath with deep roots in computer programming and music engineering, Juergen is an accomplished photographer, musician, and cyclist.

Katie Love (she/her/hers) is a frequent contributing writer at NOT REAL ART. When Katie isn't writing for her clients, she is a veteran comedy writer and stand-up comedian in Los Angeles, CA.

Kirsten Bengtson-Lykoudis
Kirsten Bengtson-Lykoudis (she/her/hers) serves as staff writer, archivist, and curator for NOT REAL ART. She enjoys rambling through NRA’s vast digital archive of contemporary artworks and getting to know the people behind them. After growing up in the Twin Cities, Kirsten darted erratically between Florida, Russia, Sweden, New York, France, Greece, Italy, and Washington DC before landing in Richmond, Virginia. A former New York gallerist, photographer, caterer, student of Russian literature, and devout polyglot, she is currently plotting her next trip abroad while earning a graduate degree in nonfiction writing.
